Back Then:
It was a horror show against the mancs. So let’s have a minutes silence in memory of that black day.
Since That:
Ah! The FA cup. There is nothing better to raise your spirits than to be supporting the ‘defending champions’ of the tournament; and we march on that path with a 2-0 win over Stoke. Quite a pleasing show this game. Unlike the game with the mancs, there was clear intent and more ambition rather than desperation when having possession and trying to break them down.
Alex was simply outstanding, earning rave reviews from many including JT. Speaking of JT, Anyone wants to pen a book titled “Burning Bridges: Moving Along!”?
Contents could include putting scandals behind, living like a legend etc etc. Well in the Stoke game JT put it all out there and even scored a trademark header. And let me bring to your attention that curious little captains armband celebration, the saga round him has only enhanced his credibility and character as a captain and England is the real looser here, cause I firmly feel they caved into the media manufactured pressure. I mean look at his replacements Rio and Stevie G… one’s a druggie and the other a brawler.
Anyways the semis will be against boring boring villa. So stay tuned to PIX for that!
What Next:
West Ham – Opportunity to get back to the top of the Premier League Table.
Inter – Mourinho’s return. With the rest of the English clubs proving their metal in Champions League this week, the onus is on Chelsea to perform. Say a 3-0 victory at the Bridge?

amen to that
I believe Chelsea have everything to win Champions,Primierand F A.pls we need Essien plss
“Chelsea has long reached a pause soon after Mourhino took the inter-course” – Carlton Palmer’s Grandma
“So has JT, but that’s a Lighter fact” – Same Grandma after reading Burning Bridges: Moving Along!
“stay tuned to PIX”
but yeah… you can have the FA cup
“the saga round him has only enhanced his credibility and character as a captain and England is the real looser here”..
…riiiight.
ROFL
Hey,
I may not agree with everything Matty says, but note that he says Captain and not person here.
To play at the level he did in the game against Stoke regardless of everything that is going on around him is not something you will see many footballers doing.
“Living like a legend”
Sleeping with friends’ wives? True Chelsea legend..
Poor Zola, spent all his Chelsea life playing football. He should have been informed there is a lot more to be done before one becomes a football legend at the Bridge.
Glorifying JT after his antics is an insult to players like Zola, Gullit, etc., who became legends and were not stripped off their captaincy armband for sleeping around..
