I love the way you quote pulp fiction.. But that doesn’t mean you’re right… If you noticed my previous posts, i HAVE DISCUSSED rooney… I have indeed defended him.. but i have given credit where its due and admitted that he’s made mistakes… My issue is that not once in this entire discussion have you or any other scouser who’s accusing rooney of hypocricy, admitted that Gerrard is an hypocrite too….

Lets look at it this way, you are accusing Rooney of far lesser crimes than thos of Gerrard… While rooney generally said that people shouldn’t dive and disappoint the people, that ‘Righteous Prick’ Gerrard have slagged people like Carvalho and CR7 by name and called them a shame to the game… Yet you conveniently ignore Gerrard and his quotes and still accuse Rooney of hypocricy… NOW IF THATS NOT HYPOCRICY, I DUNNO WHAT IS….. All i am asking is that fecking admit Gerrad’s mistake and that he was wrong in slagging others… Then we can discuss Rooney

Don’t take him too seriously mate, he’s a manc after all. Am wondering who the real hypocrite is.

All mancs call this so called defence of Gerrard’s diving a lame and Cheap trick. Interestingly they also find the Defence of Rooney’s diving amusing and victorious, irrespective of whether they are a Star Wars geek or not.

And Venky here still keeps rolling on abt hypocrites and pro boxers and even as when Harish has prettly neatly put it abt Rooney, Venky decides conveniently that its time to stick to the topic . Remember this is also the same venky who once talked endlessly abt voronin even when there was not a single mention abt him in the post.

so pretty please with sugar on top, stop this hypocrite bullshit or atleast make some sensible comments….

I agree with you.. Rooney should never have spoken about diving… He doesn’t have the right to do so.. But coming back to the point of Rooney’s claim that he’s never dived entirely in his life…. Thats not true.. But he’s never made a blatant Eduardo- Eboue type either.. all of his dives have been the cases where he has tried to maximise the contact and exploit it when the opposition have clearly tried to foul him… Not simulate contacts….But i am not gonna argue that it is any less damnable… And i can remember so many matches when he’s stayed in his feet when he should’ve gone down and that has cost us a penalty…

He doesn’t slag anyone… He just says that diving isn’t healthy.. He doesn’t act like Stevie Me going around accusing Ronaldo and Carvalho and calling them a disgrace.. THAT is slagging….

You are only quoting part of the interview, look up where i have posted the entire quote. Rooney says stuff like I have ‘never dived in my life’, and ‘people who dive are cheating the fans’ and bullshit like that.

So ur conditions for hypocrisy are satisfied:

1. He dives
2. he claims never to dive
3. he slags of others who dive

Ergo Rooney=Hypocrite
